Davies Cabernet is Petit Verdot to offer even more power and complexity into the wine. This Bordeaux blend of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Malbec, 7% Petit Verdot and 5% Merlot was aged in half new and half used French oak barrels for 19 months. Additionally, this wonderful fourth vintage has been allowed six more months in bottle to blend and mature even more gracefully. Estate grown, produced and bottled here on the Schramsberg property, the wine has become a true expression of our hillside vineyards. Only 1300 cases were produced with magnums and three liters also available in limited quantities.
