Yet I recently tasted several Prosecco, and one stood out—Mionetto Prosecco Brut NV. I found this bottle light and lively. The orange label made an impression on my memory, just as the wine made an impression on my palate.
From the Veneto region of Italy, Mionetto Prosecco is 11 percent alcohol content and medium in body. This semi-sparkler has notes of apple and lemon and far more finesse than most Proseccos. And at $13 retail, the price is just right—especially in a tough economy.
